Finding Dawn focuses on the plight of aboriginal women in Vancouver and Saskatoon. The story follows an investigation into the life and times of Downtown Eastside resident Dawn Teresa Crey; believed to be a victim of serial killer Robert Pickton.

Cottonland is centred around an Oxycontin epidemic in small town Cape Breton, and how this prescription painkiller has created a culture of dependancy and abuse. The focus is from the perspective of the user.


The Yard Blues, Erica Ferrari, 2008
Erica Ferrari spends a year working and living with sex-workers in the Bronx. The story is told through a series of interviews with sex-workers, and covers the cycle of prostitution and addiction; from the beginning. 


Escape Artists: Street Youth/Street Culture, 1998
Escape Artists documents an outdoor art festival called Planet Struck, that was produced by with and for at risk youth in Toronto, and everybody else. It was held outside beneath the Bathurst St. viaduct near Lakeshore in Toronto. This video features Toronto's very best breakdancing, MC'ing and graffiti circa 1998, as well as powerful street theatre by Cobblestone Youth Theatre, songs, rants and much more.
